You gave all the reasons why, if she ran, she SHOULD win. Yes, she has to overcome obstacles, but at least she has a message and the possibility of doing so.

Great photo of our 2012 Republican Ticket...

Palin/West (or West/Palin)...Either way works for me!

Check’s written, stamp is on the envelope...Day she announces, I drop it into the mailbox...

Run Sarah!...Run!

This writer could not have articulated any more clearly as to WHY Palin SHOULD RUN! If anybody can fight the good fight, it truly is Sarah Palin! RUN SARAH RUN!

You’re wrong.

First, the MSM is hated more than Palin. Nobody except leftist morons and useful idiots believe the MSM.

Second, she can step on and over the MSM, much as Reagan did.

Did I mention you’re wrong?

Sounds as if this guy just made the case FOR Sarah Palin for President. I harbor doubts about America’s viability as a nation as well, but I want to go down fighting, with the BEST we have at the helm! Bob

Why are you afraid to find out if she can win?

It’s like I told DH last evening. I like Sarah Palin. I’m still on the fence about her running for POTUS - will she or will she not? Should she, or should she not? But, as I shared with DH, SHE is the one and only candidate I would make an effort to go and see in person. I would not, absolutely NOT do it for any other. And I think there are literally millions of Americans who feel the same. Shoot! We’ve already had Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry here in upstate SC...couldn’t have cared less about going to see either of them. (That’s not to say that I wouldn’t vote for them in the general election, but no interest in seeing them in person.) But had it been Palin, there would have literally be tens of thousands trying to get to her rally-just to get close, get a glimpse, and to hear what she has to say...it would not be so for Bachmann or Perry. (Bachmann’s visit here drew a couple hundred; Perry spoke at the local ham-house breakfast joint on Saturday-capacity 200 at most. Shoot...I’d be happy with a Palin run even if only for the excitement it would bring. I do wish her and her family all the best. Should she run, she has our total support.

I do not know if the writer is “right” about Palin’s chances. However, I will say the arguements are logical and well presented.

I would like to think that Sarah could run and win, but I’m starting to think that too many factions are united against her. And the public still has a bad(false) “perception” of her. She doesn’t deserve the negative views many hold on her because they are based on misperceptions.

Frankly, I think he articulated quite well all the reasons Palin SHOULD run. It’s a heck of a lot more than what Perry, Bachmann, or any other candidate is running on at the moment. As for why she shouldn’t - perception - IMHO can be overcome.

Rick Perry has been an announced candidate for what? A week and a half? And look how he’s doing. I hardly think that the opportunity has passed for someone with Palin’s name recognition.

At this stage of the game, if your poll numbers are as toxic as Sarah Palin's are, a high name recognition is the Kiss of Death because that means that most people have already made up their minds about you.

Does everybody know what a "root canal" is?

Yes. (Almost 100% name recognition.)

Does anybody want one?

NOOOOOO!!!!

In the August 2011 FOX News Poll, Palin had 99% name recognition but 75% of all voters believed that she would NOT bea good President.

Sarah Palin, like a root canal or Charlie Sheen or Jimmy Carter or poison ivy, has the worst of all possible combinations: High name recognition combined with very toxic Negatives.

David, if Palin gets the nomination and loses to Obama, it'll be because the "status quo" Republicans plan to plot against her to prevent her from winning. I say that to help others understand that should the "status quo" prevail in the primaries, why should I support their candidate? I quit being a Republican after the past election's trashing of O'Donnell, Angle and Miller, etc by the establishment Republicans. I have no desire to aid and abet them in destroying our country. If it's losing they want, it's losing they'll get. A tea party takeover of the GOP is the only thing that motivates me now. Defeating Obama I'll leave to Sarah Palin and ONLY Sarah Palin.

Bears worth repeating! Thanks!

I thought the whole posting was out of line and uncalled for. FR is Palin Country

Actually, FR is "Defeat Marxist Obama but not with Romney" Country.

Deluding yourself that a candidate that 75% of all voters believe would NOT be a good President (August 2011 FOX News Poll) can actually defeat Obama does absolutely nothing except advance the Marxist destruction of America.

It is time to start putting the saving of America from Obama above the irrational adoration of Sarah Palin.

Dude she is not running yet. How many times does this have to be said? Once she enters the race then show us your fake polls and PDS views. Until then well go wash your car or something.

That’s where the sense of “perception” comes into play. Yet IMHO, she above all others, can overcome the “perception” the media has portrayed for her the past 4-5 years.

It is time to start putting the saving of America from Obama above the irrational adoration of Sarah Palin.

Speaking only for myself, my support for Sarah Palin is logic-based and not emotional. If she were to have the looks of Helen Thomas (please, no pictures) and a voice like Gilbert Gottfried (please, no audio clips), Mrs. Palin would absolutely still be my favorite for the Oval Office.

I base this on her proven track record, real-world executive experience and her stand on the issues that are fully in harmony with true Constitutional Conservatism. I'll also add that her unabashed commitment to authentic Christianity is a real plus in my book.

Yes, a few of the pictures occasionally posted here (Sarah Palin as a muscle-bound, latter-day "Rosie the Riveter") do smack of adoration for the image of Mrs. Palin. As I analyze the plight of our country, Sarah Palin simply seems the best qualified to take on the daunting job at hand.
