Are these the same aliens coming to bash us for emitting greenhouse gases? Or are they a different group? It is hard to keep up with which group of aliens will invade us first, there are so many out there.

I believe the legitimate concern is that it's tail is exceedingly long and, if you buy into the “electric theory” of the universe, it may excite the sun to increase CMEs. This in turn, may affect the weather. There are about a dozen other comets and asteroids in earth's vicinity at the same. This may amplify the electromagnetic interplay with the sun. It is pretty sure that it will interfere with our satellite functions.

It is not all baseless.

I just saw a documentary on the HEAVEN’S GATE cult, I had forgotten they thought of the spaceship behind the comet and it immediately reminded me of Elenin and the hysteria around that! LOL!
