thank you for your informative post.

Many of these people have set up households, children in school, etc.
However, the main reason it is difficult to deport millions, it took 20 years plus for them to get here, by the hundreds and thousands per year.

the American public will NOT go for Mass Deportations that the mass media will show. It will look awful and will have to be enforced with physical removal by police , our National Guard or our military. They will not just hop on busses...there will be demonstrations and protests and THOSE people will have to be dealt with by police and our military.

IF Americans still can’t demand a border fence up and get THAT accomplished, what makes you think there would be mass support for mass deportations across the country. Think about it, there is not enough outrage and insistance yet to even demand enforcement of the laws we NOW have. There is no huge and voluminous outcry to deport the illegals en masse.

I do like the idea of paying them to leave, much cheaper than keeping them here.

All of this deporting illegals is a mute point with no border fence...

President Wilson would have simply imprisoned the news media during the deportations, and so would Abe Lincoln!

President Davis, of the Confederacy, would have had them shot.

In the end all these people would be sent back to their perfectly tolerable homes. Living in Mexico is not punishment.

Remember, it may seem difficult to deport 10 to 20 million people but they got here on foot.

Absolutely correct.

But I do also like Ex-Hippies (#30) suggestions.

They are both valid.

The fact is the whole illegal thing is NOT that big of a task once the CFR, Media, and propaganda of certain interests are broken.

Indeed this article, as others on this thread have stated, is the intentional psycho-twist of the Left. "Immigration reform" can mean either of your approaches, or anything else for that matter.

We are dealing with a truly sinister public matrix of verbiage. Everywhere.

The Media should never never never be the instrument shaping the issues or conducting the debates. It should be us legitimate taxpaying citizens, asking the real questions, suggesting the real solutions.

A matter of values, and the courage to face them. I certainly trust Sarah, and possibly Rick Perry.

Every day the US fails to enforce immigration laws. Stop thinking of MASS DEPORTATION. What do think happens to drunk w/out papers? Or...the same 12 person family who visit the ER for cold medicine? Or community ESL classes, food stamps, voting...etc. Start tomorrow and the enforcement of 20+ millions will take some time.

I agree with you....

We are in different times...we have allowed this for over 30 years and we don’t have the guts to even enforce the laws we have on the books.

Mark my words, the first dirty bomb that comes across our southern border...the border will be shut down in 48 hours, with Nat Guard and army at the border with shoot to kill orders.Sad to say, that is probably what it takes to overide those who are apathetic to the situation or so politically correct they will go to their deaths singing Kumbayya.

“Perry”?

That’s disappointing.

excellant analysis also....

Our country is in peril...in the 40’s and 50’s we had this leftist threat and Hoover, then the congressional Joe Mccarthy hearings to rid ourselves of commies in the administration and elsewhere. We are at the tipping point..or with people like Van Jones, etc maybe beyond that.

they will self-deport...they already leave when our economy is bad...But nothing will work until we are committed to a border secure and enforcing our laws.

I am beginning to think Obama had a great idea...a moat with alligators! Or Herman Cain and his 20 ft electrified fence..he said he was joking, but its sounding less like a joke all the time.

I just puked on my keyboard and now have to go to Best Buy for another. Anyone that is for amnesty cannot love America and her culture as much as I do... I mean that is one of the most repulsive thoughts about the state of our Republic. They ignore our laws and refuse to secure our borders. The Fed's number one mission... defend the Republic... number two... enforce the law... they have failed us in every way possible.

Deport all four of them!

Arnold Schwarzenegger of California, Rick Perry of Texas, Janet Napolitano of Arizona, and Bill Richardson of New Mexico

Their kind of crap we don’t need as citizens!

“Most conservatives don’t consider it very important.”

As long as there is one illegal left in the county it’s the most important issue there is!

Nice try but your B.S. is not going to fly.

Perry is NOT, has NOT BEEN for amnesty & Bush/McCain "pathway to citizenship."

What was Perry REALLY saying in '06/'07, contemporaneous with your hit piece, compared to what you want people to think?

Taken from NumbersUSA (they do not like Perry):

In A December 2006 editorial, Gov. Perry wrote: "I would rather know who is crossing our border legally to work instead of not knowing who is crossing our border illegally to work. A guest worker program that provides foreign workers with an ID removes the incentive for millions of people to illegally enter our country. It also adds those workers to our tax base, generates revenue for needed social services and it can be done without providing citizenship."

In his February 2007 State of the State address, Gov. Perry said: "Ultimately, the best way to crack down on illegal hiring practices is for Congress to finally pass a guest worker program. A guest worker program recognizes the contributions of foreign workers and captures their income in our tax system, ensuring they contribute to the public services we provide them. And a guest worker program will help us know who crosses our border legally rather than not knowing who crosses our border illegally."

I’m sure Perry can take it, it is just starting to get a bit ridulous around here.
Keep on bashing Perry and we will have Mitt as the nominee - is that what you want ?

What about the many “lotteries” being conducted in parts of the world with the winners getting immigration visas whether they have any utilizable skills or not? Our social ministries are being overrun by these characters.

You can come up with all kinds of inventive immigration schemes but all is for nought if you even consider accepting sharia law or one-world government foolishness. Those are definitely two items all the presidential candidates (REPs and RATS) must address or put on the table for the American people to consider.

So much for the Perry Apologists and their claim that Perry was not for Amnesty.

Good way to Terminate a career. I guess the Schwartz is now a Conservative.

I'm no purist I'm just sick of these liars claiming Conservatism just to be elected
to power. Look around, our country is here because of RINOs without Balls.
