Interestingly, it is against the constitution for the fe[d]ral government to infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms, period.
Furthermore, it is a felony for them to try to ENFORCE such a ‘law’ as 18 USC 242 “Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law” is quite broad in what it defines as ‘color of law.’

“Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States [...]” — http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/718/usc_sec_18_00000242——000-.html

Note that there is no exception, it states ‘whoever’ which can [and MUST] include even the Justices of the Supreme court.
