Bastion is some nice, clean desert living. ;-) And the Brits are always good company. If he’s a 53 pilot, he’s probably out of Leatherneck, right? Anyway, I hope he’s beating the heat right now. You can probably cook and egg in the shade there this time of year.
The average temp. he says is about 110 so it is actually about the same or cooler than it is here in Dallas.....He has A/C in his quarters and it works, unlike some of the other quarters.....
Yup, he is a leatherneck and is happy to finally be putting all he has learned to use, he loves knowing he has a bunch of Marines in the back of the 53.....mostly night flying and he said he has never seen a place that can get so dark.....
