Sarah Palin said that though Tea Party members are used to being labeled as racists and inciters of violence, she found it especially appalling that the second in command of the most powerful office in the world would say that Tea Party members are acting like terrorists.
Regarding the debt limit deal, she went on to say that while it is a victory to change the debate toward talking about the debt, there is much more work to be done. She does acknowledge that the debt limit deal is a step in the right direction but she doesnt like giving what she believes may be the most liberal President in US history another 2 trillion dollars that we dont have with no major reforms:
[Here's the interview of Palin on Greta a short time ago.]
She said it wasn't a genuine 100% victory and qualified her praise with some negative comments, but she obviously doesn't think it's as bad as many do.
This is the actual headline which you changed for some reason:
“Sarah Palin: Quite appalling to be called a terrorist by Vice President”
You can ask the Mods to correct it for you.
Sarah never said the bill was a victory. She said changing the conversation was a tea party victory.
Well, no.
She said it was a victory “to change the debate toward talking about the debt,” but “she doesnt like giving what she believes may be the most liberal President in US history another 2 trillion dollars that we dont have with no major reforms.”
She was responding to Greta’s preface that the bill was a victory.
You’re an idiot RINO propagandist:
“Regarding the debt limit deal, she went on to say that while it is a victory to change the debate toward talking about the debt, there is much more work to be done. She does acknowledge that the debt limit deal is a step in the right direction but she doesnt like giving what she believes may be the most liberal President in US history another 2 trillion dollars that we dont have with no major reforms.”
Why did you change the title and the gist of the article?
It was never about the debt, it's about raising taxes on everyone. If the GOP thinks there are no tax increases in this bill, they got snookered big-time.
Yeah, that’s what I posted, Jim.
It’s a FACT. Why are you deleting facts, Jim?
Where are the tax increases, expert?
Take a hike, troll.
Raising the debt ceiling is a tax increase.
Third time tonight someone’s done this. Trying to say “Sarah supported this bill so stop criticizing all the others who support it.”
As JimRob says above it’s straight RINO propaganda.
Actually, this is a blog pimp hit. He/she has co-opted the title for hits. Disgusting!
It's a question that should be answered.
The whole thing is a multi-trillion dollar tax increase. They're going to borrow and spend more than two TRILLION dollars, ALL of which will have to be paid back by the taxpayers, some of them not yet born or even conceived.
This is so obvious I'm shocked that so few seem to see it.
Yep, more money in circulation equals a weaker dollar making consumer goods more expensive.
They will let the Bush tax cuts expire. Then Obamacare taxes kick in.
OK, I got to watch it and as I suspected, you’re completely wrong.
Palin strongly opposed any debt limit increase, taking to her Facebook page to issue a veiled threat of “contested primaries” to freshmen members of Congress. But in the wake of the debt deal’s House passage Monday night, she acknowledged a partial victory for the tea party in turning the national conversation to spending and debt.
Nonetheless, she voiced displeasure with the concessions made to the president, and blasted the Republican House leadership.
“What happened to the pledge that our Congress has made to America, saying they would post bills online three days before they voted on them?” she said. “They’ve already broken that pledge, and doggone it, that’s what makes us disappointed in politicians in Washington, D.C.”
