I take BP pills. My BP is usually around 140/90 with them and around 200/120 without them. The pills are kind of working, I guess.

I take blood pressure pills, Diovan, twice a day, morning and night. Maybe your dose is too low, ask your doctor. Strokes are awful, I am praying that you don't have a big one.

If they put you on a blood thinner, like Coumadin, that could be the issue. I have had several friends and family members put on that stuff and it really affected cognitive performance.

Headache, drowsiness, & confusion are signs of accelerated hypertension. Get your doc to monitor your blood pressure and adjust your dosage as necessary. When your BP is under control, the headaches, fatigue, and memory loss should significantly lessen or hopefully disappear.
