You know what I was implying. Once a Marine always a Marine.
God bless all those who have fought, still fight, and will fight for this country.
I’d rather have one 72 year old Marine fighting at my side than a legion of panty-waisted, tofu-eating, sprout-loving, gun-hating, tree-hugging ...
Meh, you get my point.
How about "post-graduate Marine"?
ONCE A MARINE, ALWAYS A MARINE:
Once a Marine, Always a Marine: This truism was adopted as the official motto of the Marine Corps League. The origin of the statement is credited to a gung-ho Marine Corps Master Sergeant, Paul Woyshner. During a barroom argument he shouted, “Once a Marine, always a Marine!” MSgt. Woyshner was right. Once the title “U.S. Marine” has been earned, it is retained. There are no ex-Marines or former-Marines. There are (1) active duty Marines, (2) retired Marines, (3) reserve Marines, and (4) Marine veterans. Nonetheless, once one has earned the title, he remains a Marine for life.

Definitely NOT an Ex-Marine!
Improvise, adept, overcome!
Maybe we should call them Sleeper Marines. They seem pretty much like ordinary civilians ... until you poke 'em in the chest. LOL
“A good Marine uses whatever weapon is handy.”
Yeah, but if he’d used a big old Buick the fender scrapes would have buffed right out.
Rule #1
Never poke a Sleeper Marine in the chest.
Rule# 2
See Rule #1
Rule #3
Don't worry about Rule #3.....you have already told me where to bury you.
BS!
This old boot—1952-72—has known and respected far too many old salts who served before i was born, and who regarded themselves as ex-Marines...before we capitalized (M) Marines, etc. Before some of us also capitalized Soldiers, Sailors Airmen, etc.

And then the johnny-come-lately ooh-rah crap!
It wasn’t premeditated - he probably thought the guy would come back and kill him... Sounds innocent to me. Let the family sue ...
John Murtha - disgraced Marine
I just love stories with happy endings. Don’t you?
"A Marine is a Marine. I set that policy two weeks ago - there's no such thing as a former Marine. You're a Marine, just in a different uniform and you're in a different phase of your life. But you'll always be a Marine because you went to Parris Island, San Diego or the hills of Quantico. There's no such thing as a former Marine." Gen. James Amos, 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps
Like it or not, it's now policy.
I think I'll stick to slapping hibernating bears on the arse for my entertainment.
Agreed.
BS!
Stew in yer own juice...

It’s been a real pleasure talking with you, Spanky.
John Murtha. I am not a Marine, but serve in the Army National Guard. I don't consider him to be anything other than a
Don’t see how the marine could get into trouble. In the video, they say the robber fired shots at them as they had him pinned to the wall.
Anybody know if this was another amish?
