Who cares? HE’S DOING THE RIGHT THING. Doing the right thing is its own reward, and it’s *always* the right thing to do.
No doubt Perry is serving a hidden agenda... but, again, WHO CARES?
Standing up for Israel is always the right thing to do.
Perry shows leadership, and he’s putting Holder and Obama on notice.
Every Governor of every state should do this.
He should have stayed in Texas and "Take on" the last two days of HIS special session. The two days where his no show contributed to killing off the TSA and Sanctuary City bills.
As of Wednesday he is in California, not Austin, Texas where he could have been mustering support for the TSA and Sanctuary City bills.
Both failed.

Perry plans to a meet behind closed doors Thursday with Orange County Republicans and, later in the day, with legislators in Sacramento. He also plans a sit-down with business leaders and potential fundraisers in Beverly Hills.
He starts his trip Wednesday in San Diego, where he will speak at a Boy Scouts event.

Looks like those calls last week from republican donors Charles Butt (HEB) and Perry from Houston (no relation to Rick Perry) worked. Both are establishment GOP and that appears to be the road Rick Perry has chosen.
Rick Perry went from RINO to PRIC faster than I thought he would.
