I’m not a fan of Glenn Beck, but I don’t think your assessment of the situation is at all fair. If your children were present when you were assaulted by a gang of thugs, you’d probably tend to get a bit bent out of shape about it too. Beck was once a drug addict, this is true. But I don’t think that contributes to the fact that one would feel especially emotional about having your children at the brunt of a really ugly mob scene. Instead of making his past addiction something to attack him with, how about honoring him for having the strength of character to overcome and beat his addiction? I think repentence and sincere change counts for a lot in the development of one’s character.
Glenn Beck now knows what it’s like to be a Dolphin fan in Miami when they’re playing the Jets. All the Jets fans who live here bring their thuggish lifestyles with them and take a great deal of joy at spilling beer on Miami fans and then starting fights.
