At the Reading Room events you can meet authors, poets and Civil War historians. There are several eateries including the Grill & Café, the Southwest Porch, Celsius and ‘wichcraft. Citi Pond is the centerpiece of the park's winter season, which also includes about 20 holiday shops. The 170' x 100' rink features free ice-skating. For 17 years, it was the home of New York’s Fashion Week. There are gardens, promenades, monuments, terraces, a fountain, free WiFi, and even a shoeshine stand.
