U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie surprised many at a Dover church public forum when he said sneaking into the United States is not a criminal act.

“Being in this country without proper documentation is not a crime,” Christie told more than 60 residents and town officials. “The whole phrase of ‘illegal immigrant’ connotes that the person, by just being here, is committing a crime.”

Being undocumented may be a civil wrong, but it’s not a criminal act, Christie said.

Just yelling at people doesn’t mean you are tough.

A lot of the GOP are squashy on immigration because their wives are too lazy to look after their own homes and kids, and too cheap to hire Americans to do the work. Look into Christie's house help and you'll probably find his immigration problem is because of his wife. That's like the Bushes. This is the problem we women in the middle-class Tea Party could solve in a hurry if we just paid attn to their household arrangements. As soon as they're exposed as breaking the law, they'll be better able to support it.

Have you ever considered that about all we'd have to do to get the Repubs to start enforcing the law is to expose how they themselves are breaking it? That's why you hear all the self-justifying rhetoric like we're hearing from Christie.

This is a dirty little secret in the GOP. Rush drops hints of this all the time--it's the wives, daughters and mothers like in the Bush family who are shiftless and no-account housewives.

It's not a problem if we know where to point the fingers. Embarrass some GOPers, problem solved.
