If you Google “flags”, you’ll get a list of several online stores.
Here’s one that sells US-made flags in different sizes and fabrics:

World Net Daily seems to sell a good variety of flags with the hardware. Look also along the left side of the following page for all the links:

Since I have had a flag displayed for the past 10 years, I can advise using a nylon flag. Cotton just doesn’t last very long.

It’s the store for the USS Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. They sell flags that were flown over the Memorial, yeah they are a little more expensive, but...high quality and an interesting flag to have. Comes with a certificate telling you what day the flag was flown.
I got two, both flown on December 7th, 2010.

I buy mine from the Vets when they come around. But you want online.

Congratulations. Lots of good advice on flags....this year and in the future, I’m trying to call it INDEPENDENCE DAY....seems to make it more REAL...
AC Moore actually has very nice flagpoles and mounts that are metal. I was surprised. And large cotton flags. I did not check where the flag was made as I already have 2.
Does your neighborhood have a Homeowners Association?
If so, Make sure you’re not in violation of any of their rules with any patriotic displays.
I've driven past the place, but never been inside, so I can't provide a review.
And, yes, I realize that you are on the other side of the country, but perhaps a similar store exists in your area.
There are terrific flag shops online. Historical flags, well-made, grommets and so forth. That’s where I get my big ones.
I can't say they are any better than any of the companies already linked here but they are American-made, have been in business since 1847 and have a good selection.
You’re in L.A. right? Good luck with that. The mex flag and the fag flag are all they care about here.
I bought a cotton flag at KMART about 8 yrs ago
Flyrite sells some nice stuff.

You don’t want to use a cotton flag outdoors.
Go to your local Congressman's office. They usually have U.S. Flags available for sale. Wonderful quality. You can also order one that has flown over the Capitol, but that takes weeks to get. However, it is nice to have.
But, there are often ones readily available in the office that are new and last for several years. Call your local Congressman's office and find out. (Probably the same can be purchased from your local Senator's office also.)
