Well that’s dang funny since that post of yours I originally responded to joked that “next” someone will be comparing her to Moses and here you’re saying it happened to someone else. As far as comparing her (or anyone else for that matter) to someone in the Bible, no one is making her into a saint. Deborah, Esther, Ruth, Delilah, etc. have particular personality traits. When one compares someone (be it a living person, an historical figure, or a literary character) to one of these women they’re referencing certain characteristics. Biblical references work quite well (which is why they’re so prolific in classical literature) because most people are familiar with them. But it’s okay, if it makes you feel better about yourself to attribute it to something else.

Either you interprete plain English poorly, or I can’t make a point. I’m scratching my head which.

I said—someone informed me that the Palin bots had “already made her into Moses two weeks ago”. Patriotic works. Sainthood still jumps the shark. For a rockin’ website, it’s embarrassing. But let us not obsess.
