Michelle Bachmann reflects my values. You are entitled to vote for whomever you believe reflects your own.

Michelle didn’t go after Mitt today. If any of them don’t tie Romneycare around his neck he waltz in.

Step 3 - If Palin says she’s not running, where do all those voters go, not added to Romney so:
Bachman or Cain jump up big, add their 6% to palin and they jump ahead of Romney

Let me get this straight: Unless you vote for Sarah Palin, you are a proxy voter?

Michele Bachmann is a stalking horse?

The answer is no on both counts.

The militant, radical communists and their allies fear only one person. I’m talking about the tyrannical power brokers—the Putins and the Soroses of the world.

They’re not in the least bit afraid of Bachmann or Cain.

We all know who it is that gives them nightmares.

I’m concerned Romney may be put over the top by Dems in open primary states.
A reverse “Operation Chaos” by the Dems, and after 2008 it’s hard to blame them.

I believe anybody can beat Baraq in a 2-way, but I’m also pretty sure a Romney candidacy will generate a 3rd party challenger.

Splitting the opposition vote may well allow Baraq to secure a Clintonian plurality win. I’m sure the Baraqqi Coalition can deliver 37% of the vote no matter what.

This would be problematic because gaining a 2/3rds veto overriding margin in the Senate is highly unlikely.

Question to any one on this site:

Do u have to be a “declared candidate” to get votes in the Ames Straw Poll?

If not, what happens if Palin, who is not a declared candidate, wins the Ames Straw Poll? What a wild ride that would be.

“If you are moderates or centrists who despise Sarah Palin...”

I’m tired of hearing the notion of a lot of Palin haters. I don’t believe it. The media puts that into their discussions of Palin.

Wonder why Palin is surging in Iowa. Are there other states where she’s surging? I wouldn’t be surprised if there were.

I am not averse to supporting Palin IF she gets in the race AND IF she proves to be the only conservative that can deny Mitt the nomination.

I support Cain, but his performance last night was lukewarm. I thought Bachmann did well but it’s not untrue that Mitt did himself no damage.

Simple premise:

If Palin does not run, welcome to Romneyland.

If Palin does run, do anyone really believe she will sink in the polls?

Why is the MSM absolutely terrified of Palin. They know the truth.

I will be voting for Sarah regardless of if she actually runs. I’ll just write in her name.

Well stated. Solid structure, solid logic.

The question is: Will Sarah Palin run, and if so, when will she announce?

There is apparently a lot to like about Bachmann. But I never have actually heard her talk except for the barest snippet I caught on tag end of the CNN "debate." But the thing is, we generally elect governors to the presidency unless both candidates are senators/vice presidents. And in fact, no sitting president has ever been defeated by a senator or congressman. Or a non-pol like Cain, however attractive he might be.
My tagline advocates, and has since the start of last year, "Draft Palin." That is precisely because I projected the likelihood that you suggest - that "better" than Palin was probably going to end up being the enemy of "good enough." The upcoming movie, "The Undefeated," could very well transform the dynamic of the race very favorably.
Nominating Romney would eviscerate Republican appeal to the Tea Party and could therefore result (joy of joys for the journalists and other Democrats) in a significant second party movement.
Iowa is a state where 45% of the caucus goers are projected to be VERY CONSERVATIVE and based on the 2008 exit polls of the caucuses 60% self-identified as evangelical Christians. These are the two groups that Romney had the least success with in 2008 . . .

"What if Sarah Palin does not run?" Answer: Get ready for the coronation of Mitt Romney.

Alternate answer: Iowa adopts my slogan - Draft Palin.
The campaign finance laws, unconstitutional as they are, put a high premium on a draft movement. IMHO.

“”Despite my affiliation with the Republican Party, I don’t think of myself as highly partisan.” — Mitt Romney in his book No Apology”

This man is not to be trusted, and will just take over where Obama left off, just like Obama took over where Bush left off.

The only people I trust are Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin...or Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Rick Sentorum or Ron Paul.
