I think he will last until next Friday (news cycle issues,) by letter to news agencies, somewhere around 11 p.m. Eastern Time, and will give an apologies with all kinds of excuses tacked on to it, which then of course makes it cease being an apology.
They do NOT want him anywheres on the HIll when the Hosue comes back on Monday..it’s most likely today or tomorrow..
