It's that time of year when the cockroaches come out in force. Fortunately there is a really inexpensive way for you to get Combat Cockroach Killer in the syringe form which dispenses gel pellets that the roaches eat and ultimately kills them.
Here is how to do this deal IF you live in a Publix area: Get the Publix Yellow sheet and clip out the Combat store coupons for $3 off. Then go to the section of your Publix where they sell insecticide and take note of the "Blinkie" which dispenses coupons. Right now the Blinkies are dispensing $1 Combat product coupons. Now be sure you grab the boxes of Combat with a picture of the syringe on the front that look like the one above since it is selling for $5.19 each. Stack the two coupons together and you deduct $4 total leaving you a net cost of only $1.19 per box. A real cheap way of combating (pun intended) your roaches.

You probably have mentioned this before but I find some fabulous deals in the clearance section of many stores (like CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens etc). Many times, there will be a shampoo, moisturizer, etc.. marked way down and if you have a coupon... you can get it for free or close to free. I have my standards though. I won’t purchase any sort of product that appears open or used. Sometimes you have to dig a bit too. I found a hair shampoo for treated hair that retails normally for $8.99. The price was $1.99 and I stocked my shelves with six. I didn’t have a coupon but it was a great deal. Just a thought.
It’s a damn shame COMBAT doesn’t have these roach killers on Capitol Hill and in the WH.
My body wash which I get for FREE also serves as shampoo so I just use that. Both Nivea and Right Guard BW can be used as shampoo as well.
We found a new place to print online coupons yesterday:
Looks like it is run by Catalina, the people who supply those long white coupons that pop out at grocery check-out.
Well, these come in the easy to dispense gel form. Maybe a bit more palatable to roaches? Plus they cost only a little over a buck. I don't really want to have a lot of boric acid around.
Men can get away with a dual body wash/shampoo. For us ladies who tend to help mother nature out a bit with some curls or coloring, we need different products. For example, my highlighting cost around $120 every two to three months. (that is a deal, by the way). If I use the better hair products for “treated” hair then my color lasts a lot longer. Just a thought.
My wife is getting ready to use an online Payless Shoes coupon that way.
Roach Killer for a $1.19. Not bad. I always laugh at people when I watch them buying bug spray, like Raid or something and asking “Does it kill ants?’’ “Will it work on flies?”’ I tell people, “If it will kill an ant it’ll kill a fly. Insecticide is insecticide. Look at what it’s made with. It’s all the same chemicals not matter what it says it will kill. Marketing, that’s all it is.
I need to find a good deal on Clamato juice. I had a bottle of it in the fridge which I got weeks ago. How I got it, I can’t remember. However, a couple of nights ago, I mixed it over the rocks with Vodka. It was like a switch was turned on. And now I can’t get enough of it. I definitely need a Clamato deal. Come to think of it, I also need a Vodka deal. If anybody knows of any, post here.
Please add me to the list!
