IMHO what should not be allowed on a forum that purports to be about Conservatism is a “which hunt” by an opponent of any religion or anyone trying to redefine any religion in a negative light. Conservatives are by definition pro-religion. The prohibition on attacking religions goes for anti-Catholics, anti-Baptists, anti-Mormons... all anti’s; In order to preserve the power of this forum anyone who spends all their time bashing any religion should be asked to leave.

"IMHO what should not be allowed on a forum that purports to be about Conservatism is a “which hunt” "convert hunt" by an opponent proponent of any religion or anyone trying to redefine any religion Christianity in a negative light"...by teaching the fictional anti-Christian, polytheistic doctrine of mormonism.

To refresh your memory DU, THIS was the mormon declaration that was the tipping point for Jim Robinson. Joseph Smith: An Apostle of Jesus Christ See post #1459 by JR: "If you’re going to make false claims or comparisons about Christianity on this forum, do not expect NOT to be called on it."

You state: " The prohibition on attacking religions goes for anti-Catholics, anti-Baptists, anti-Mormons... all anti’s;"

I notice you don't include "attacking Christianity by claiming that the only way to salvation is through subjugating oneself to the dictates of fifteen old white men in Salt Lake City, and paying for the privilege of doing so in coerced tithing."

When those fifteen old men recall the 52,000 missionaries out spreading the lies about Christianity worldwide and stop spending millions every year on TV and radio advertising to spread those lies, you may have a leg to stand on in your attempt to censor this forum.

BTW, I suggest caution in calling for other FReepers to be "asked to leave".

When you see comments like the one cited below, from post #168, it is clear that the poster is manipulative, deceitful, and spinning as fast as it can get it's magic twanger to turn:

"So if you ask a candidate boxers or briefs and he answers it then becomes a legitimate basis for attacking them?"

Comparing a man's professed religious beliefs which by his own admission inform his life choices and decisions to his underwear choices which have zero impact on his life decisions is an alinskyesque tactic which comes down to nothing but hidden ridicule of the more grave issue. One would almost be tempted to believe such an poster has been through Millett's Momronism Missionaries class teaching how to deceive questioners of Mormonism!

Greyfoxx39, Thanks for the link when I attempted to find it to link to earlier, all I got was dead links so I assumed it was pulled.Bookmarked now.

As for recalling missionaries and basically committing spiritual harry carry as a way to get you to stop attacking us, well it's not going to happen. you have really strange ideas about what we do. Ideas that I would never describe as “accurate” BTW.

as for asked to leave, I was speaking my opinion, of what kind of things should get a person banned. If asked to leave by Jim, I will. Until then you'll just have to put up with my sporadic appearances.
