Eight years ago, I was accused of being a "paid professional anti-Mormon"! I took it as a compliment that my verbal/written communication style was good enough to get paid for.

The disconnect is hilarious....the mormons and their 52,000 missionaries are just fine, but if there actually WERE any paid "antis" on FR that would sure get their garmies in a wad.

That's what I was referring to...mormons think they are the only ones who should be offering religious information ANYWHERE....'cause they are so "speshul". They honestly DO believe they are the "chosen". I posted a thread earlier about this elitist belief: ..with the following paragraph in the article...

President John Taylor taught: “The Lord will be king over all the earth, and all mankind literally under his sovereignty, and every nation under the heavens will have to acknowledge his authority, and bow to his scepter. Those who serve him in righteousness will have communications with God, and with Jesus; will have the ministering of angels, and will know the past, the present, and the future; and other people, who may not yield full obedience to his laws, nor be fully instructed in his covenants, will, nevertheless, have to yield full obedience to his government. For it will be the reign of God upon the earth, and he will enforce his laws, and command that obedience from the nations of the world which is legitimately his right” (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: John Taylor [2001], 225).

The "covenants" of course, refer to the mormon temple covenants and "he will enforce his laws" refer to mormon church government laws. Notice, in this excerpt the usual mormon habit of not capitalizing the "H" in referring to "He and His". (I haven't seen them fail to capitalize the "C" in church when referring to the mormon church, though.)

Now folks, be advised that both Romney and Huntsman come from these roots and have had these notions ingrained in them from birth.

That is the point of the matter that continually passes over the heads of the non-mormon mormon defenders here. There are ingrained and yes, historical, teachings and beliefs that exist in the mentality of mormons - ESPECIALLY temple mormons like romney/huntsman. They believe they are entitled to power by virtue of their priesthood.
