There was a time when the tide seemed to flow the other direction, you know? Some FReepers were frustrated by what seemed to be very pro-birther mods. Some of us thought there was going to be a purge, but there wasn't.
JR has been extremely patient with both sides. He's allowed totally free debate in an attempt to let FReepers work it out. Some days we fight and argue bitterly, but in the end we're all on the same side.
There is no reason for a purge. FR needs to keep the conservatives it has not ban a large number of them. In fact, we need to attract more conservatives. To do that, we're going to have to reach the point where we realize that good conservatives can disagree on the eligibility issue as a whole or in part. Doing so does not inherently make anyone a "lying Obot troll" or a "whackjob conspiracy nut." Yes, sometimes that turns out to be the case, but I think it's more the exception than the rule.

I made no accusation of naivete on Jim’s part.
If you weren’t so preoccupied with your own ego, you might be aware that the Robinson family has had their own personal tribulations in recent months, and things like illness and deaths of close family members do distract.
As for the mods some are great, but some clearly have their own personal agenda that has come before the good of the forum.
Your disengenuous string of false accusations in reply to my simple statements seems aimed at creating hard feelings where none are due.
Its not the conservatives, but the neo-cons that are the problem, along with the willfully blind.
I have no problem with simple disagreement; its the obvious shills that post only on the subject for which they were commissioned to come to FR that bug me. They have posted for years (2-1/2) on the same subject to the exclusion of all others. Many of them use accounts that were created 5 or 10 years ago but were not used until Obama’s inelligibility to be president became a problem for the global governors, necessitating that FR be neutralized.
Then some mod has the nerve to call them “Freepers of long standing” PUKE! Rattlesnakes lying in wait is more accurate.
Every thread that is posted with useful information on the pretender’s inelligibility becomes poisoned with hundreds of ignorant argumentative attacks without legitimate basis.
It is impossible for a conservative American patriot to ever end up “on the same side” with that nonsense.
