The original airlift from kenya was something like $280-300 via BOAC. Google it there is a picture...

Then see what plane crashed from Mombassa around 1960. Its in an official report. I think it was a Comet IIRC.

I followed the link you gave, which took me to the 10,250 through 10,300 page of that thread. There was nothing on that page about travel. And I'm not combing though all 10,744 posts.

I already linked, upthread, to an article which showed prices. The London to Nairobi part of the flight alone cost over $5000 when converted to 2010 dollars.

You mean this one? Which is a UK military aircraft? Because I don't see anything from 1960 listed here or here.
