If she was working or tricking, was she paying income taxes? Then the take home pay would be substantial.
How about selling drugs? A lot of fast money to be gained in the “illicit” trades.
Some of the comments are mind boggling. They assume SAD was just an innocent white girl from Kansas with no means to make it on her own. The fact is, not much is known about her by the public.
I am sure there are people who frequented the bars on Hotel Street back in the day that knew her and knew about her frivolities.
