You know what? I was just reading through some of my comments and comments to me, and I realized that this thread turned into a pointless pissing contest. FR has been getting nastier lately, and I've made myself part of the problem. Presumably, since you've been on FR 11 years, you are a conservative, and therefore you are my ally, even if we don't agree. So I take back my insults in the previous posts. Have a nice day.
P.S. I'm still right about the use of "is" vs. "are".
