In an eight o'clock announcement on Fox News, Mike Huckabee announced that he will NOT be running for President in 2012.
Mr. Huckabee was one of the major contenders for the Republican nomination in 2008, garnering 282 delegates by the convention. The former governor of Arkansas, he now hosts a show on Fox News.
Huckabee discussed voters that will support him, how he believes that he will gain plenty of money fund-raising, and his prayer to Jesus Christ.
He also spoke of "clarity" and an "inner-peace." He stated: "I will not run for President."
I’ve never liked him. Reminds me of the Republican Bill Clinton.
“One of us is correct”
I am, LOL! Time will tell.
Many of those people thought that vote would eradicate 400 years of slavery, racism, Jim Crow, lynchings, etc. Hopefully, they’ve learned since then. As Rush Limbaugh says, every gas station price board is an advertisement for the Republican party.
If you listen, you will lean away, but I am worried about this because he is the “chosen” establishment candidate. Laura Bush called his wife the other night to encourage her before she gave her first public speech. And if the Bushes are behind daniels, it looks like a fait accompli.
I don’t like it one bit. He doesn’t want to discuss “social” conservative issues like gays and don’t ask, don’t tell, or abortion...which are our core values. This is a rino. NOT a conservative, and bad medicine for Conservatives to have to swallow.
Not a Huck fan here but what is the answer. If you read this thread along with many others EVERY person that is running is being shot down. Hell the demoncrats don’t have to say a word we are shooting down each person considering a run. So who it it gonna be????
“He also spoke of “clarity” and an “inner-peace.”
Iow, he loves his current gig at FNC — play some bass guitar, talk some politics, and collect a fat paycheck. Don’t blame him one bit.”
I said this from day one. As long as his job is secure with Fox he will never run. He loves doing that show and makes far more money. Why give that up? I think he just hinted to help his ratings and maybe get an even bigger paycheck from Fox. Can’t blame him.
“Phew! I hope he urges his supporters to back Sarah Palin when she announces.
Take the blinders off. Sarah isnt going to run either. Thats why she is still on Fox, like Huckabee, whereas Santorum and Gingrich were let go. Because Fox already knows who is going to run and who isnt. Saraah isnt.”
Bingo!!
She’s NOT running. She’s happy where she is and is done with public office. The race is between Newt and Mitt.
My call is the nominee will be Newt Gingrich.
Oh, please....
Palin/West. Ticket made in heaven.
“Newt had his day (1994) and he blew it.”
Nixon had his day in 1960, and blew it.
Reagan hade his day in 1976, and blew it.
We need someone who will be a moral leader. We need someone who will stand up for family, life, and the free market. And most importantly, we need someone who will stand up for the constitution...including ALL of its clauses.
Good. Thanks for finally going away, Gomer. Huckabee was the conservative version of Jimmy Carter.
I think Bachmann may be in the race as well.
Now if only Romney would drop out as well.
Praise The Lord!
>>””Thank you Jesus!!!<<’’ Amen To that brother, amen to that!!! “Amen,Amen/amen,amen,amen/Sing it over(amen)he ain’t gonna run/(amen)/ he ain’t gonna run/(amen)/Huckabee ain’t gonna run again’’/ sing it over.... :-)
“We may end up with a very interesting 4-way race: Palin, Trump, Cain, and Gingrich.
The debates will be barn-burners!”
I would pay to watch that on.
“Fox already knows who is going to run and who isnt. Saraah isnt.”
Good insight. Hadn’t realized that.
The MSM wants Daniels to run, heck even Obama said he would be a tough customer, pretty transparent strategy no?
Ping!
