In an eight o'clock announcement on Fox News, Mike Huckabee announced that he will NOT be running for President in 2012.
Mr. Huckabee was one of the major contenders for the Republican nomination in 2008, garnering 282 delegates by the convention. The former governor of Arkansas, he now hosts a show on Fox News.
Huckabee discussed voters that will support him, how he believes that he will gain plenty of money fund-raising, and his prayer to Jesus Christ.
He also spoke of "clarity" and an "inner-peace." He stated: "I will not run for President."
Somebody give that man a quadruple cheese burger, silly striped shirts for his whole family, and a big thank you for doing the right thing. See, Mr. Gingrich, some people are capable of seeing when it’s obvious they will never be president.
True. I think he likes his show and the steady paycheck. He made the best choice for himself and the nation.
Now he needs to go out an vocally support the BEST candidate ... not a RINO though.
I don’t blame him either.
Thank the lord.
Sarah.
Good!
Hope Trump and Newt to follow.
Newt just announced. He’ll be in it to the bitter end.
Hallelujah!
Very strong Raid.
Newt had his day (1994) and he blew it.
It’s go to pasture time, Newt.

I want Mittens to disappear.
The father of Obamacare should exit real quick !
He is political poison.
We may end up with a very interesting 4-way race: Palin, Trump, Cain, and Gingrich.
The debates will be barn-burners!
Double clicking did it.
Can't see that happening. Can see him getting a big boost in open primary states from Dems crossing over as a Dem version of Op Chaos.
IMHO Mitty is the one guy that will slam dunk guarantee a Tea Party challenger, and a Clintonian plurality win for Baraq.
Don’t forget: Huck has an ever-better paying gig at ABC/Citadel Radio. He’s been the designated successor to Paul Harvey for the past couple of years, and earns big bucks for his three-times-a-day newscast.
Heard recently that Huck is building a multi-million dollar mansion in Florida. Don’t think he ever made more than $75K a year, even as governor of Arkansas. Now, he can make $2-3 million a year from his media jobs for the next 4-5 years, then decide if he wants to get back into politics.
When I heard the former governor was building that house in Florida, I knew he would take a pass on 2012. Kinda hard to give up those radio and TV jobs (and the fat paychecks that come with thme) for an uphill battle for the GOP nomination, with no guarantee that Fox or Citadel would rehire him after a failed run.
