Betting there is a window for human beings that have not had a chance to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and Jesus is waiting for them at the cross over.
Sounds right. We know Him to be a just, righteous and merciful God, so I would expect something like that.
I’ve often thought the same, and there are even a couple passages in the Bible (no, don’t ask me to cite them, I couldn’t) that make me think that MIGHT be the case. But it certainly isn’t clear, hate filled and godless people are unlikely to change their minds and accept the offer IMHO, and I for one certainly am not going to count on it!
PS I also have some heretical ideas about possible embodiments of Hell, but I’m not going to count on those, either!
Interesting but never have seen that in the Bible.
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God, is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. (20) For since creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
Psalm 19:1-6 "The heavens declare the glory of God.......There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard." This would seem to tell us that no one, regardless of who, where or when, is without the knowledge of God to be believed or not.
Take Abraham, Genesis 15:6 "And he (Abraham) believed in the Lord and He accounted it to him for righteousness." By "believing in the Lord," and acting on that belief, Abraham was "accounted righteous" by God. (Pre-Christ grace by God for "believers.")
