This country is being run by people who know nothing about actually running anything. To top it off, they’ve all been told, and believe, that they are more qualified than anyone to make the decisions to run everyone’s lives.
If people actually figured out this b.s. then the value of an Ivy League education would deflate like a popped balloon.
Ah sir, you have finally figured out politicians and their ivy league cohorts! Yes, these politicians are nothing if not nefarious and lairs at heart - that is why they are politicians.
If the United States ever has a chance of becoming great again, it will have to digress itself of the politicians of today. We need statesmen, not politicians. The two are NOT interchangeable.
Unfortunately, I have seen few if any statesmen willing to put up with the antics of today’s political grind.
So... are we doomed to selfish and worldly politicians to lead us... unfortunately that is the case... Either get use to it or run yourself.
I’d say today that we are doomed to political failure.

They believe they are making independent decisions, but they are being led by handlers. Companies do this on a routine basis, groom a manipulable "manager" to take heat off the real managers.
