Until Obama tells us the hospital that he was born in and the Doctor that was present, I will doubt anything that comes out of Hawaii. The statements by the governor only raised speculation and seem unlikely...
Not really sure that it matters at this point, but it would be nice to actually have factual evidence of same... Since Obama wants to draw this out (either due to fake information, or for political reasons) is unknown at this time. Later evidence may provide resolution and either confirm or destroy his presidency.
Actually, at this point, I don’t think that anything he or his minions can do will revive his presidency. He has been and seems to continue to be a loser president, akin to Carter. Not much can change this perception unless he changes and that is highly unlikely!
The Sec’y of State is next in line to succeed to the Presidency, after the V.P., but that doesn’t mean that the Sec’y of State becomes V.P. if the V.P. becomes President.
If Obama leaves office or dies, Biden becomes President, and then Biden would nominate a new V.P.

Root, you must know more than most why Obama can’t find his birf certificate since he’s an enigma which as his mystery and missing Columbia U. days.
True. It might get to the point where he’s just defeated in the election, never having shown it. That’s another possibility.
I don’t know that he’d really want to draw it out further if he could avoid it. It’s really not in his own interest, but that presumes a logic that might not be there. Evidence seems to be that he can’t avoid drawing it out, further damning him.
There really isn’t anything that can save this presidency. Rats have already left his sinking ship. Who knows? Maybe he’ll even be impeached before the campaigning really picks up steam anyway.
It’s not the Secretary of State, it’s the Speaker of the House that is in line after the Vice President. So in this case it’s John Boehner who’d be President if the place-holder and the spare place-holder were removed.

Anyway, my real point was that the people in the line of succession don’t move like bowling balls into the position of the person who moves into the Presidency, etc.

The “talk” was that Biden would leave and Hilary would be chosen by Obama as VPOTUS for the second term. Hilary would bring her voters that are disgusted right now and of course, they would be hoping Obama would get depressed and go to a park to “get happy”. With Hilary now saying she will retire and doesn’t seem to want to challenge Obama, it must be just talk. Course, it’s not November yet. If Obama stays at 38% approval, she may step up to “save” the Democrat party in a primary.

Max, I thought all of the recent Presidents signed an executive order like that real quick. Bush and RR did. It is my understanding that that order only referred to national archive things while the CIC was in office, not things that went on before being sworn in. Of course maybe muslim boy hussein changed things regarding the order this time around to benefit his commie lyin’ can.

I suppose that as long as the Democratic National Committee is willing to keep funding his defense (as they’ve been alleged to be doing), then he’s willing to keep taking their money for it. Maybe at some point though the DNC will start suggesting, enough is enough, especially with dwindling union dues paid in to their coffers, and diminished donations from people who want to ‘back a winner’, considering how much like losers they’ve been looking over the last year or so.
