Levin points out many things about Trump that show he is no conservative, but a few of the glaring ones are the fact that he support Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio twice, as well as calling for the impeachment of George W. Bush, accusing him of lying to get us in the war. Oh yeah, and he supported Universal Health Care in America, the Canadian style.

Trump has healthcare plan ideas. I’ll wait to hear them. Donald must have sent an advanced copy to Levin. I’ve tried listening to Levin, he’s a JERK.

Donald Trumps whole purpose is to damage obama for the Clintons as well as split the tea party vote and the republican vote. This will help the D and R’s stay in power and succesfully dilute the insulant popular uprising known as the tea party.

He is systematically going down the list of what “progressives” and “rinos” believe to be the tea parties big issues. He is on every left and right based news show to discuss it. This guy is out to subert Obama and get this country back on the d / r, Clinton / Bush gravy train. If the article is correct about his support of Canadian Health Care...then we will have 3 candidates in the next election to choose from that all support commie care....Obama / Clinton, Romney and now Trump.

People need to wake up and understand that we are watching a puppet show. They all need to go!

I love Levin - he’s the smartest pundit around. And I agree with him about Trump. We need someone with solid conservative principles. Anyone who would give money to Rahm Emmanuel and Chuck Schumer is not presidential material, even if he did also give money to Republicans. I don’t know the status of Rubio’s citizenship or that of his parents. And I know he’s not running anyway. But I’ve heard him speak and he certainly sounded Reaganesque. And Allen West is also solid - and yes, I know he’s not running either. I’m just saying...as much as I admire Trump’s desire to help the country, I wish we had someone truly exciting, someone articulate and with depth about the principles of Conservatism. Wish we didn’t have to “settle.”

When you go up against the bama boy ther is no telling where the bullets will be coming in from.

I won’t be voting for Trump either, but it is time we found out for sure about Obama, and I could care less about Trumps motives.

I heard Levin yesterday. He said for over 40 years he has followed Trump and during that time he has been invisible on conservative issues, rather taking sides with the left, and now, presto chango, just in time for the Republican race he touts himself a great champion of conservatism.

Where was he when Levin, Bachmann, and so many other conservative stalwarts were in the trenches with the tea party? He was invisible, during that time he was supporting the enemies of the tea party.

Levin said he believes Trump is really for Trump. If he were for real he would have been in the fight with the tea party.

Mark Levin's deconstruction of Donald Trump is devastating and he has rendered a great service to the conservative movement.

It is astonishing to me how conservatives will seize like remora fish to any passing fancy from Ross Perot to Colin Powell and, now, Donald Trump. They will strain at a gnat and swallow a camel as they puke all over their keyboards when the name Newt Gingrich comes up but forget about Donald Trump's marriages, his bankruptcies, his flagrant arrogance, his inconsistencies.

Trump' s numbers are combination of name recognition, media hype, frustration over the passivity of the conventional candidates on the issue of eligibility, and a perceived willingness to push back against the media, governor Christie style, which many conservatives have yearned for.

Mostly, his high numbers, actually only about 26%, represent a portion of part of the electorate. The traditional candidates have one eye on the general election and Trump has made a calculation that if he wants any chance at the presidency he is actually increasing his odds from about zero by exploiting the birther issue. That was a dangerous tactic that the traditional candidates were not willing to risk because they did not face the same long odds that Trump faced in the beginning. Trump had to break through and break in if he was to be seen as bona fide material as a presidential candidate and so the Birther issue and an aggressive belligerent tone with the media serves him.

However, his tactics will force the rest of the field to be more aggressive and in my view that is a good thing.

trump may not be a conservative, but at least he’s asking some of the right questions.

questions that the media and our own pubbies did not ask, nor do they still ask.

Trump is no conservative, but he's doing our work for us by going after the eligibility issue. Shame on those who won't.

There are too many people, with power, in our party who are a real threat and need to be ripped to shreds, Trump ain’t one of them.

I suppose Mark Levin was performing a service to remind conservatives that Donald Trump isn't one. Great.

But I don't care if Donald Trump is a liberal, Vulcan, or Rastafarian: He is the only one to pound Obama on his lack of eligibility / disloyalty to the USA.*

And power to The Donald for that.

Where was brave Mark EVER on this issue???

* Obama may have applied for college as a foreigner; he may also have traveled as an adult under a foreign passport.

...and the liberals love all of this infighting. I like Levin, I like Beck and I really like what Trump is doing. How about instead of bashing Trump, like Beck and his merry men have been doing mercilessly and now Levin, let him continue to do what he is doing.

These guys go on about how what Trump is doing is somehow taking away from the focus on Obama's policies. Doesn't that mean that them commenting on it, is taking away their focus from the same thing?

We need to use some common sense or we could be played by someone who probably played people to get where he is. We have to ask ourselves a few things:

I have never seen his show, but he sounds like a manipulator of people. Does he ever play people against each other or tell others to? Does he think some people are gullible and those looking to get ahead should use that to climb the ladder?

In the past Trump has always supported leftist candidates. Just months ago he gave money to them. Why the change of heart?

Why would New York Times, nbs, cbs, abc, cnn, msnbc....all give him time on their morning shows and news shows to slam Obama? We all know they lick Obama shoes. Does that make sense?

He jumped into the tea party crowd really quick. He knows that the tea party is Obama’s biggest threat. He sees the negative climate obama he is facing and knows the odds of him winning. If he claims to be one of us and gets our trust, he could split us or maybe.....he will say he found the birth certificate and its genuine and give some legal reason he can show the certificate; he’s being sued and he can’t talk about it. The suit doesn’t have to be from obama. It could be family or who know? He will ask for us to trust him, after all he’s one of us now. Then it goes away for Obama.

Or maybe Obama birth certificate is real and Trumps is working for the left leading us away from the issues Obama that he wants us to forget. If the bc is real that will give Obama a real nice October suprise. IMAGINE THE POOR CANDIDATE WHO STARTS QUESTIONING THE BC. You can imagine what the left will come up with about that candidate. (If Trump can mislead him/her, maybe Iran can too..)

I think there is more going on than we think and he might very well be playing us. For those of you who Christians, the scripture says:

I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.

I think this needs to be hammered home

Trump is great for pointing out the birth certificate issue. But he may be just making a path for another democrat to take over. He was a big Hillary supporter and never what anyone could call a real GOP supporter.

he has stated that if he does not get the GOP nod that he will run independently - this will serve only to divide us and leave Obama in place for 4 more years of we break off and follow him.

We must realize that eventually we will get to pick a GOP representative .. or at least the GOP will pick one. We may not be happy or excited about him / her .. but almost anyone at this point would be better than Obama.

We can not split our votes on a man who is doing one thing right (pointing out the birth certificate) encourage him, let him continue with it. It hurts Obama. It encourages the states to pass legislation that Obama will not want to face to get on ballots. But I hope that he is not our only choice for president under the GOP banner. I also hope people realize he isn’t all that conservative and splitting votes will only help Obama.
