Levin Rips Donald Trump to Shreds
The Right Scoop ^ | 4/15/11 | Levin

Posted on 04/16/2011 11:43:03 AM PDT by justsaynomore

***ANOTHER UPDATE***

Levin points out many things about Trump that show he is no conservative, but a few of the glaring ones are the fact that he support Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio twice, as well as calling for the impeachment of George W. Bush, accusing him of lying to get us in the war. Oh yeah, and he supported Universal Health Care in America, the Canadian style.

And there’s more. This is a must listen.

trump may not be a conservative, but at least he’s asking some of the right questions.

questions that the media and our own pubies did not ask, nor do they still ask.

I take issue with your characterization of Levin. He can be very abrasive, yes, but a jerk is one who does what is bad for you, whether he’s talking nasty or nice. A nice jerk is actually more dangerous, like a shark in quiet peaceful waters, and suddenly you’re missing a leg. I’d take Levin any day over slick salesmen like Clinton and Trump. Levin might foam at the mouth a bit, but at least I’ll get to keep all my extremities.

Face it folks. There’s no such thing as a ‘true’ conservative. Everyone’s wallowing in dreamland.

Take a look at all the Republican candidates nominated
since Reagan (30 years ago), and see how ‘true’ C they
have been, Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain.

Looking back, makes you want to puke, huh?

I’m as conservative as they come, but I’m tired of
seeing these ‘establishment’ types sell us on how
C they are, get nominated, and then they become
complete PUSH-OVERS when the RATs unleash on them.

I’ve had it!

More than anything now, myself, and many others who
think like me, want to see a “FIGHTER” who will take
on the RAT/SOCIALISTS now entrenched in our national
political life.

TRUMP is the only candidate that will fill those shoes!

Trump is no conservative, but he's doing our work for us by going after the eligibility issue. Shame on those who won't.

Levin is as conservative as they come....

Aside from being a brilliant constitutionalist he knows the law....

Trump is no conservative and at best is a barking dog who is annoying the hell out of barry and proving there are no men among the current republican leadership.....

Maybe Levin is right about Trump, but pick a candidate then! Why’s it so hard for him to decide. Every night Levin says, “Now they are a lot of conservatives out there that I like...” Then he’ll name people such as, Rubio or Jindal who’ve said that they’re not running. Then he’ll tell us why he has questions about Chris Christie, who’s also said that he’d not running, and tell us for the millionth time that Christie hasn’t done his show. After that he’ll remind the audience that he hasn’t written off Palin. Levin supported Fred Thompson in 2008, who wasn’t running a good campaign at all.

trump may not be a conservative, but at least he’s asking some of the right questions.

Trump isn't really asking the questions in the sense that he ever expects answers. He is throwing red meat out to what he perceives, from a northeastern liberals point of view, the conservative base wants to hear.

Come on people, open your eyes. Trump is a chameleon, and not even a good one at that. Donald is NOT a conservative and doesn't have the slightest idea, intellectually, what conservative ideology is all about.

Trump is not deserving of ANY conservative/tea party/Republican support. He is a vanity candidate, and one I suspect is laughing at the very people who are now supporting him.

Re: A record of who 'conservative' Donald Trump contributes to:

Here's a complete list of his politcal contributions:

$185,000 Republican

$253,000 Democrat

$376,000 Special Interest

I notice $34,000 to the NRSC.

Not a cherry-pick list, just a straight forward chart.

Looks to me like he's been cultivating business interests.

Whose positive view of socialist healthcare? Levin certainly doesn’t have such a view.

I will listen to Levin before Rush these days....

Rush is good and he has a good read on politics....

But, a while back he sided with the repubics when they dithered over the defunding of obamacare and did not include the King amendment to whatever the legislation was....

To the contrary, Levin was adament the King amendment be included...

The repubic leadership is weak and feckless.....

There are too many people, with power, in our party who are a real threat and need to be ripped to shreds, Trump ain’t one of them.

All of his public grandstanding aside, the real Trump has actively repudiated a conerstone of constitional liberty and sided with the tyranny of elitism. From one of Levin’s links:

“Vera Coking, an elderly widow from Atlantic City, knows firsthand the power of unaccountable government agencies. The Institute for Justice successfully defended Vera against the condemnation of her home by a State agency that sought to take her property and transfer it—at a bargain-basement price—to another private individual: Donald Trump. Trump convinced the State agency to use its “eminent domain” power to take Vera’s home so he could construct a limousine parking lot for his customers—hardly a public purpose. And unfortunately, cases in which government agencies act not as protectors of constitutionally guaranteed rights, but instead as agents for powerful, private interests, have become all too common.”

Case closed.

He is being cheered by Tea Party members in S FL as I type. My great uncle is there. MArk Levin is a nobody who never mentions eligibility because he is a coward. I don’t trust Mark Levin. He sucks on the radio - just rants.
