This is most definitely a hoax. Someones over active imagination gone wild. The US Govt. has never accepted PO Boxes as legal addresses for obtaining any kind if ID, personal or professional. Before rural addresses were assigned street numbers for emergency purposes, the only box numbers that were legitimate addresses were RR Box numbers. I know this because we were in business at the time & living & running the business from the rural location, our number was RR Box 127, then we moved & we became RR Box 195, some 13 years we moved back to the family farm where we were RR Box 127 again. We now have had an official street location for almost 10 years with an official govt sign in the ditch right next to our drive with the our address number permanently affixed to it. I say official govt address sign because it was the government who put it there. We had no say in it. I guess our HUGE mailbox with the numbers affixed to it on both sides was not enough proof for them that the number we had on the box was legit.

Apparently, you didn't attend my classes. This is a tough question but I do answer all questions anyway.

It's a veiled threat to scare the decent Conservatives into submission, given the choice of submission or it's your security, stupid!

The problem is that Conservatives don't scare easily. The Communists can't do anything but try, something I always stressed on my students, especially that lousy thingy of an armed population that couldn't be subjugated like any others in our long violent Communist history.
