LOL! Except that you cannot get a drivers licence or passport with the short form according to Federal Law. - Try it!

I couldn't even register my kid in school with my Texas birth certificate, it had to be a copy of the certified hospital b-cert.

Crazy, I know, but it does make a difference.

You are dead wrong. I've gotten both in the last five years with nothing more than a COLB.

That’s wrong. I got my passport last year with with just the so-called “short form” I got from Missouri...magritte
