The COLB (certificate of live birth) is a short form birth certificate. It doesn't contain information like the hospital, doctor or nurse who officiated, parental details, etc.

The long form REAL birth certificate has all this information. Obama has fought the long-form certificate coming out so logically the answer is WHY? It seems logical to assume that there's some incriminating detail on it (parents not married, name was different then, Muslim relgion listed...any number of things).
