Interesting. My farther was 5'7" and his farther was 5'6" and his mother was 5'5"tall.

My mother was 4'11" and 3/4" Her mom was 4'10". Her farther is unknown.

I am 5'8" and at that time the tallest in my family tree, (ok bush).

My oldest son, his mother 5'6", is also 5'8" tall and is me all over again.

My youngest son is 5'10".

Not even sure what that means.

Kobe is 6'6" and his father Jellybean, 6'9". I do not know how tall his mother Pam is, but her brother Chubby Cox is 6'2".

In my family, the grown grandkids (my generation) are all taller than our grandparents and our kids are taller than us. That’s usually the case these days. People are getting taller what with better nutrition and medical care.
