I think there’s a certain amount of confusion here, it wasn’t Mary who talked about diapers, certainly not that I recall.

LOL, I just realized that Fred. I was originally responding to Greenperson who referred to two "diaperable babies in post 577. After rereading what I could find from Mary, there is nothing in there about diapers. This whole conversation (mine, that is), is pointless. I still stand by the possible faulty memory of 45 years ago and her daughter being 18 months vs, 26 months.....who knows? That's why I wondered about the diapers.....at least it might have been an event/phase Mary might have remembered better.....but, there was nothing about DIAPERS in her interview.

Way back...I posted images from the Seattle chat club, that shows how the entire ‘Mary-baby-sat’ eposide started. It was a set-up started by an anonymous poster named LIEF - to introduce the discovery of the ANNA OBAMA listing that Charlette LeFevre had found in the Seattle directory. The story just grew from there. They contacted Mary in Alaska, and Mary said she baby-sat for ANNA.
When her daughter, who was born in July 1959, was 18 months old.
And everything that came after was nothing but a result of panic at the discovery of ANNA - who wasn’t meant to be found.

Up until then, the script/blueprint was the Susan Blake interview...which has been reduced down to almost nothing. Susan Blake made the comment in the original that Stanley Ann Dunham ALWAYS used the name STANLEY...so Susan knew nothing about ANN/ANNE OR ANNA.
