One of the students in the MIHS class of 1960 is a guy named Carlos P. Espinoza. These links will tell you about him:

Facebook

(very liberal - Telling Sarah Palin She's Full of Crap (by Leftake.com), Legalize Gay Marriage on his page)

Classmates Account

His website

(he does seem to be very talented so maybe you've heard of him out in Seattle?)

The above is just background for what I want to tell you which is this:

There is a another Carlos Espinoza who is 48 and splits his time among Seattle, Mercer Island and Los Angeles. These is no information that connects this Carlos Espinoza to the Carlos Espinoza from the MIHS class of 1960 in this article or anywhere else that I can find.

Here is the significance of the younger Carlos:

"Islander Carlos Espinoza, a six-time regional Emmy Award winning television producer, is the associate producer of the film, to be called “Stanley Ann Dunham: A Most Generous Spirit.”

(Source: Mercer Island is part of documentary on Obama’s mother)

In the article, he asked,

"Who was this woman who brought a United States president into the world? How did she inspire and shape her son into the person who is now one of the most powerful leaders in the world?

“And we know so little about her,” he continued. “She is a fascinating story in her own right.”

"Well, Carlos baby, we got questions, too, and I'm hoping you might help us answer a few" is my response.

Do you know anything about this proposed documentary? This article was published over a year ago now and I'm curious to know if the project ever went forward and, if so, how close is it to being finished? Do you know anyone at the Mercer Island Reporter that you could ask or even the author, a Mary L. Grady? Maybe Carlos has delved into her university years and will include that in the documentary. BTW, if he dropped the project, it would be interesting to know why.

Just found your comment again, sorry I didn't reply sooner.

...BTW, if he dropped the project, it would be interesting to know why.

“Espinoza, who splits his time between the Island and Los Angeles, has been on Mercer Island looking for more information about Dunham’s time here, combing through newspapers at the library, school records and talking to Dunham’s classmates from Mercer Island High School.

““Mercer Island had a great influence on the rest of her life,” he said.

“The film will take viewers to the places that Dunham lived and worked, from her birthplace in Kansas to Indonesia to Hawaii. The plan is for a film crew to come to Seattle and Mercer Island as well.

“The filmmakers are eager for some way to glean more information and, hopefully, images of the president’s mother. The team is hoping that there are more photos and some home movies — perhaps from a slumber party, a dance, or an event at Mercer Island High School.

““The tiny snapshots we have don’t tell the story,” Espinoza said. “We are looking for what we haven’t seen.”

Oh boy, isn’t that RICH! Can’t you just imagine him looking for something a dozen or more of us have been looking for, for at least two years? And all of them closed up like clams...like little Joelle (what-was-her-name?)telling the interviewer she was told not to say any more ...and had to ‘hang up now’ and all the ‘classmates’ who can’t find their yearbook, although it’s in the house here somewhere and the woman at reception at the school who said we had SIX books here until recently, but they were all stolen...and out of the hundreds of students of the class of 1960, NOT ONE has come forward with a Yearbook!

Your comment really hit my funny-bone. Best LOL I’ve had all week. He doesn’t need to ABANDON THE PROJECT so much as forget he ever started it. There isn’t any THERE THERE...because the little there is has been buried, tampered with, obscured, lied about and plastered with images that are obvious fakes.

Welcome to The Birther World, Mr Espinoza!
