I think Elizabeth Mooney & Frank Laubach predate Cora Weiss (at least most visibly dated).

Concerned if FOIA questions are answered here, they will never be found again -— virtually unsearchable since this thread concerns BC and other questions and answers not specifically responding to the FOIA.

I have always suspected that explanation as being nothing but a cover-story for that period between when he was suposedly 'working as a clerk in Nairobi after leaving the School at Maseno' in 1953 and when he arrived in Hawaii. When it came to my notice that the Laubach Society had connections to The Nation of Islam, I was inclined to throw the story of the two women out entirely.

The entry on the document showing his sponsorship by the AFRICAN AMERICAN INSTITUTE to which Percy Sutton and Betty Sabazz were connected, convinces me.

The Laubach Society taught illiterates to READ...and that much he HAD already mastered. Helen Roberts and Elizabeth Mooney Kirk are as credible as CORA WEISS who tried to link the Kenyan to the airlift with which he was NOT ASSOCIATED, and which claim she was recently forced to recant.
