Yeah, I knew that’s what you meant. My point was, it was even easier than you knew.
I’ve been using the cloning tool on images for 14 years. I might use a different approach on the pearls photo. I’d pick a photo with a good neck, neckline, etc. Then I’d “lift” from another photo or create Ann’s head and paste it over the existing face and head paying attention to the size so it matched the neck and shoulder size (and angle to avoid something like the giraffe woman syndrome). Then I’d fix up anything in the background that might be showing from the original head. Depending on how it looked, I might do it over and, before I pasted her head on, I might erase the other head and blend the background first. At any rate, I wouldn’t have to even use layers or advanced tools to do it.
