We are having a “pointless conversation” in your opinion because you disputed my contention that a woman would remember nearly EVERYTHING about the first years of her first child’s life. Then you disputed when a baby would likely be toilet trained. My point in bringing this up was to prove how unlikely, considering circumstances, that her memory WOULD be faulty. It’s as Brown Deer pointed out—if it were really 1962, there was another thing going on in her life that would have been memorable. Not only caring for her own toddler as well as someone else’s infant, she was very pregnant herself! If true, then likely she would have had a much more memorable event to tie the circumstances of her babysitting to, if it really took place in spring 1962. “My daughter was 18 months old and she just had her 50th birthday this year,” Toutonghi recalled. “So, that would make the time around February and March 1962.” [Again, incorrect math; when it was pointed out to Corsi, he corrected himself, in the story I will link next. And Mary knew the date of her daughter’s birth.]
“Ann Dunham and the baby moved in while we were there,” she remembered. “We managed the house and they had the rooms on the first floor to the right, immediately above the garage. Each of the rooms on that floor comprised a one-bedroom apartment. I can’t remember when she moved in, but the baby was seven months old.”
“It was kind of weird, but she never told me why she abandoned her husband,” she commented. “I don’t know if the courses she wanted were here. I couldn’t figure out why she was here in Seattle while her husband was in Hawaii.”

Why this would be the more “reliable recollection” is anyone’s guess, since it’s not KNOWN when exactly Barack Obama Jr. was 7 months old. That’s the point, actually. Why does Corsi ASSUME that Obama wasn’t 7 months old in Spring 1961 instead of Spring 1962? Or that it WAS Spring, given Mary’s faulty memory and mathematics? The point is that by adding those items about her daughter, she’s trying to lend credibility to her “story”. But instead, because she can’t do the math, she made her story that much more implausible. She also claimed later that it was right before she and her husband bought a house and moved from that apartment building. Yet I don’t know that anyone’s found any evidence of WHEN he bought any house, if he did. So she adds a new piece of circumstantial evidence to lend credibility to her story, that’s already been discredited because her other evidence doesn’t add up.
There may be problems with Mary Toutonghi’s recollections. I personally don’t view the alleged contradictions as serious.
Regardless, there is little doubt that Stanly Ann was living in Seattle, probably beginning in the the fall of 1961. There are UW transcripts that match exactly to the location where Toutonghi claimed to live. There are corroborating recollections by several of Stanley Ann’s friends that she knew from Mercer Island High School. While many of complained about the specifics of the conversation and, apparently, these classmates have declined to give further interviews, many of the details have correct verisimilitude with details such as her having difficulty diapering her baby and talk about her husband, their separation, and the nature of their relationship in such details as the fact that he had multiple wives and would be going alone to Harvard. There are even some claims that she tried to make some kind of move to Boston, but that it didn’t work out.
We will never have 100 per cent certainty on what happened, especially with the large scale evidence tampering and destruction that have occurred with many documents related to the Obama’s life. However, I don’t think that any one piece of evidence should be used to exclude any particular hypothesis about the Obama narrative, or else we would have to exclude just about every known scenario. But I think that the available evidence supports her residence in Seattle, her enrollment at the UW, and a baby in tow that she claimed was the offspring of Obama, Sr.
Toutonghi’s recollections may be faulty, but I don’t find that there is anything that she said that could be corroborated with an alternative hypothesis. Unless there is strong documentary evidence for another Mrs. Obama living at the same address at a different time, we should not take her statements to support any competing hypothesis.
It’s HIGHLY likely that Abercrombie doesn’t even remember the 60s.
lol, Greenperson, the “pointless” conversation was me referring to diaperable babies, toilet training, yada, yada, yada, because I took your comment about two diaperable babies, literally. I was conversing about that as “fact”, since it would be a more reliable memory than a specific date. It was not fact, so my points made no sense.
Regarding, the rest of your post.....thanks for the additional info from the WND article. I hadn’t realized WND had also interviewed Mary.
I try to weed through all the info using actual university transcripts, polk directories as the more reliable date markers.....timelines from personal recollections, less so. Personal recollections about events/phases are more reliable, IMO, because that is how people tend to recall memories. Transcripts from UH show Stanley Ann in HI in fall of 1960, receiving credit for a course that ended in Jan, ‘61. Transcipts for UW show her at UW in fall of 61. Recollections from her friend, Susan Blake, (if you believe her) indicate her visit was in late August, ‘61 (or thereabouts). I’m not using any exact science.
I’m not saying you are wrong. I tend to agree with Corsi on this one. You have further defined that Mary thought she babysit in the spring for Stanley Ann, Ann, Anna, whatever she was called. I don’t know about Mary’s possible pregnancy at the time or some other time, so won’t comment on this event......lol, I might get into another conversation about diapers/toilet training from something that isn’t known.
For what it’s worth, I don’t think that WND interviewed Mary Toutonghi. They claimed they did, but I don’t think they did. I have my reasons.
Another thing, for what it’s worth: Can we rely on anything on the Internet? You have to accept that the images of school records seen on the Web are legitimate. If they are, then statements like Mary Toutonghi’s should match, but when they don’t match, it’s suspicious. And then you have the evolving story, after her original memories are called into question. As I said, a cop would have a gut feeling. I have other reasons for doubting her stories. Not only prior inconsistent statements but prior interviews with the media, shortly before this supposed interview with that blog, when she was CAMPAIGNING for Obama, but never mentioned to a local reporter that she babysat for the candidate. She was interviewed about her Obama signs being vandalized, but didn’t mention that she knew Obama or his “mother” personally. Or, if she did mention it, we’re supposed to believe that a reporter in a little town in Alaska thought it was a bigger story that the yard signs were swiped than that the victim personally babysat for a presidential candidate, about whom voters knew very little.
As for Ann’s Mercer Island friends, yes, it’s interesting that they all now decline further interviews. (I don’t believe Susan Blake.) At the “request” of the POTUS, they say no more.
Why would he ask (order? intimidate?) all of her high school friends to NOT SPEAK?
One friend is quoted as stating that is exactly what happened, so if one is to believe her stories about her school days with “Stannie”, then one must also believe that Obama’s people have told her to STFU. Why?
All the stories correspond, just like a rehearsed story. Again, a cop’s radar would be going off.
All of her “friends” and all of his “friends” recount the same tired old “memories,” right down to the headband she wore and his pets in Indonesia. (Except when the memories DON’T match, and then those people are never again interviewed or discounted as liars or too old to remember correctly or golddiggers.)

People in the know claim that the reason is that Stanley Ann talked extensively about her harrowing trip from Kenya, including how she couldn't get on the plane to come home in time for birth is US.
From day one, Obama has apparently had limitless ambition. And, apparently, all of their fellow traveler friends have pushed him to think big,too. One of his classmates at the age of ~13 said that even at that time, the word was out on the streets that he was being pimped for the presidency. And don’t forget that the Russians, who were bosom buddies to many leftist radicals, including lots of Chicagoans, seemed to have been pimping for him, too.

Seems to me he remembers ANNE/USA identified in the image sitting next to the Kenyan at the Nachmannofs. That this girl wasn't Stanley Ann Dunham, is obvious. She then shows up at the birth announcement address, as ANN S OBAMA...and if she was enrolled at the U of HI - FALL 1960 - she's the one he met in a 'RUSSIAN CLASS'
When the U of HI provided the enrollment details for 'Stanley Ann Dunham' they started with the ANN S OBAMA dates...because...doesn't EVERYONE KNOW (sarc) that Stanley Ann was married to the keyan?

At this point, any documentation that is not directly from the source, is not trustworthy. Embellishment, forgery, erasures, additions, leaving pages and entries out, adding pages and entries, changing dates, etc - are wildly rampant.

Aside from some very suspicious images in which Stanley Ann Dunham appears to have been inserted, there's nothing. NOT A SINGLE YEAR BOOK. None of her 'classmates' can find their yearbooks, and when asked, someone at Mercer Island High School said -
