Obama's aunt angry at Trump (Now she claims family got letter from BHO Sr. in Hawaii)

BOSTON - Barack Obama's aunt, Zeituni Onyango, says Donald Trump disrespected her family by questioning the president's birthplace.

Trump quoted Obama's grandmother when she claimed to have witnessed Barack Obama's birth in Kenya, and Onyango says that is not true.....

RESEARCHER: I was in Honolulu for approximately three days. I arrived in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. My first stop was the State Library to review the Oahu Polk’s Directories to confirm the address history of Stanley, Madelyn and Stanley Ann Dunham and some other persons of interest. I also verified that Barack Obama Sr. appeared in the Polk’s Directory. I looked for the name “Lolo Soetoro,” but I never did find a record of him in the directories I looked at. However, from the passport information that was recently released as a result of the Chris Strunk FOIA request, it appears that Lolo was in Honolulu as early as 1962.

I looked at the Polk’s Directory starting with 1959-1960, which would have been complied in 1959 and published in 1960, and the Dunhams were not in there. They appeared in the following year, 1960-61, and I went through the directories up to 1965-66 when I had a hard stop because the library was closing. The Dunhams appeared to have lived at the birth address for two years and then had at least three different addresses listed in the remaining directories. After Ann returned from Seattle, she is listed in the 1962-1963 directory as Ann Obama and residing at the same address as her parents. In all the subsequent listings, she is listed an Ann Dunham and had the same address as her parents.

I was able to capture images of all of this information. I had previously done some work with another researcher last winter, and I do have confirmation from the University of Washington’s Special Collection Archives that Stanley Ann appeared in the Seattle Polk’s Directory in 1961-62. The Dunhams appeared in the 1959-1960 King County directory which at that point in time, I believe included all of the surrounding area, excluding Seattle. Their address was traced to an apartment located on Mercer Island, which is directly east of Seattle. So everything seemed to be in order in regard to the address history that has been published over the last couple of years.

While the scene in the book includes two friends who were with him when he arrived late for a first date with Ann, few members of the snack bar crowd remember the Obama-Dunham relationship. Hal Abercrombie said he never saw them together.

If I’m wrong someone will soon clarify, but IIRC the Polk directory for Seattle lists “Anna Obama”. That might or might not be Stanley Ann Dunham (Obama). She was never called “Anna”.

It is really a worse story than that.

The Polk for Hawaii lists Anna as Ann Obama prior to 1961 when Stanley Ann purportedly arrived.

Now you can find several places where people say Stanley Ann called herself Ann, Anna, etc. But, having studied the issue, I don't find any examples.

But the resident ultimately controls the Polk listing--so maybe she did.

It is an article of faith to Fred that every example except the early Hawaii Polk listing for Ann Obama lists Anna as a different person from Ann.

I am inclined to accept Fred's view on the Hawaii Polk--that was probably Anna. Other places, probably Anna is a different person than Stanley. For the most part, Stanley Ann used both names so where you find only one name, it is probably Anna.

I reject another hypothesis--that Ann went to Hawaii before her high school class graduated from Mercer Island, and was pregnant earlier than the legend (Dreams) provides for because if that had been the case, there would have been no reason to have modified the legend.

So in turn, that reasoning, coupled with a variety of reliable testimony including Abercrombe, to the existence of a multi racial child connected to Senior prior to the fall of 1961, supports Fred's analysis that there are two women here--Anna; and Stanley Ann.

If you get that far, you surmise that Anna was pregnant; she was the woman whose father rejected the idea of the black son in law; she left Hawaii in the fall of 1961 and delivered the baby in Kenya.

She (Anna) was related to a Seattle family and returned to Seattle to attend Seattle University, probably in January 1961 as Mary testifies. Lives on Capital Hill.

Maybe it is as simple as the fact that Zero is the child of Anna. We think that is not likely because he was rejected for inheritance from Senior.

I tend to accept the University of Washington transcript record because it looks like a number of U of W transcripts that I have seen. But, it may not be real.

The Corsi time line that has Stanley Ann in Seattle on August 19 to register for class at the U of W is incorrect. Contrary to Corsi and the University's letter, the date results from a misreading of a 9 (September) as an 8 on the original Night School Transcript--the 9 is down in the binding and small type; the bottom of the nine looked closed to be an 8. That was wrong.

But not material. Stanley Ann registered for Night School classes on September 19 (the Night School is an extension school and hence gets an X class number). Stanley Ann, or whoever was there under her name, attended class in night school in the fall quarter of 1961 and in Winter quarter of 1962; then transferred to the regular day school for Spring quarter, 1962.

Reason she was in Night school is because she got poor grades at the U of Hawaii and could not get in to the day school at the University when she originally applied. Her grades in Night School were stellar and got her into the day school.

The disparity in grades between U of Hawaii and U of Washington a year later could be viewed as at least a suggestion that there were two different students attending school under Stanley Ann's name.

Yes, it was definitely September 1961. We located the 1961 Time Schedule which shows the date all classes began.

The following email was sent by Ms. Virjean Edwards to the original researcher on July 26, 2010:

This is to confirm that when Ms. Obama’s record was entered into the Student Data Base, an error had been made and the month was entered as August (8) and not September (9). The staff person made an honest mistake since on the original record the 9 is typed on the line which makes the 9 look like an 8. Our office investigated this, found that the class did not begin until September so corrected the on-line transcript changing the month from August to September.
