44th? Hes going to evict Obama?
Born a Brit - Not Legit
But he certainly is NOT a someone who understands the hopes and dreams of many of the Tea Party people, esp. those who want smaller government. I see little in Trump that he understands the need for smaller government, or the dangers of government. He may succeed in spite of those positions, but do not kid yourself. Trump is not a conservative because he is right about the BC or China.
Yep. I like what Trump said in his interview with Meredith Viera about his being a ‘Deal’ man. He’s made hundreds of deals over the course of his business career. He knows how to prepare, present, negotiate and get what he wants. Obama (and most other candidates) doesn’t have that experience.
That’s what it looks like to me.
I don’t see anyone else with the balls for the job.
I, for one, am DAMN SICK AND TIRED of nutless wonder repubicans...they make me sick to my stomach.
They are worse than the French, and apparently after seeing recent world events, they are a lot worse than the French.
Well, how strong will the evidence have to be that even Mr. Obama’s will admit that he is not a natural born US citizen.
How unassailable?
Thoughts?
Hmm. This getting interesting.
No. He won’t. But I love what he’s doing. Beautiful strategery.
Maybe he’s only counting Grover Cleveland once?
you must admit that the man has FAR, FAR more experience in ANYTHING than resident Rochester

True. He just isn’t a conservative.
Coach is dead wrong on this one.
Problem solved.
I would like to ask you the same questions when it is Palin vs Obama?
On a sliding left-right scale of the issues, Trump is very similar to Bill Clinton. His use of eminent domain to take private property for his own use should send chills down the spines of freepers.
It's about natural born citizenship! Only a **natural born** citizen can be president. That means no other allegiances to any other country. Natural born means that he can't have held any other citizenships throughout his life. This is true even if adults made that decision for him.
So?....What passport did he use to travel in Pakistan?
So? ....Was he adopted by his Indonesian father?
So?....What citizenship did he claim when he applied to college?
So?....Is Obama Sr. really his legal father?
And....If his mother renounced Obama’s citizenship so that he could be an Indonesian citizen and attend Indonesian schools, did he go through the proper procedures to reestablish his American citizenship? Where's the paper work trail?
Finally, ...Few in the country, or world, know if Obama is even a citizen. He may very well NOT be an American citizen and, indeed, be a complete foreigner!
You don't know any more than I know about Obama’s convoluted past.
He sure does, and it consists mostly of various bankruptcies and a history of working with OPM (Other Peoples Money)........he's a fraud.
Sorry,can’t stomach Trump the chump.
>I, for one, am DAMN SICK AND TIRED of nutless wonder repubicans...they make me sick to my stomach.
ditto.
Presuming that his father really was BHO, Sr. (not some other "dude" with whom she was sleeping)no matter where his citizenship was, being born in America to an American mother and does qualify as an American citizen (lest all of the "anchor babies" are illegal as their fathers are Mexican or other, as well.)
For the Trump detractors here, if it came to a ticket of Trump VS. Obama, I’d like to ask you:
1. Will you stay home & not vote?
2. Will you vote for Trump?
3. Can our country survive another Obama term?
Ah, here we are again... the “lesser of two evils” argument.
It sounds to me like Trump has undergone some changes in political philosophy. Isn’t that why many FReepers have been bashing Mitt Romney? Why the inconsistency?
Five things stand out about Trump that give me pause:
1. He uses eminent domain abuse to his benefit (http://articles.philly.com/1997-02-19/news/25533159_1_donald-trump-trump-plaza-eminent-domain),
2. He is on record as supporting “universal health care.” (http://www.ontheissues.org/donald_trump.htm),
3. He’s a past supporter of and donor to Hillary Clinton (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0908/13558.html),
4. Despite recent pronouncements, he’s on record as being pro-abortion... and.. (http://www.ontheissues.org/donald_trump.htm)
5. He’s for an “assault weapon” ban, waiting period, & background check. (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0908/13558.html)
Sorry, folks... not a Trump fan. Yes, it’s entertaining to watch him get under the libs’ skin with the birth certificate issue. But that doesn’t make him Presidential material. The fact he’s even getting serious consideration is testament to the sad-sack state of the GOP field.
