That is true, but it is a step back in radio. 1210 covered all of SE PA up to Allentown and south Jersey down to DE. Huge markets make for big revenues. I am not sure what WILM's coverage is and what their advertising market is like. Losing the NYC market is also odd. He was kicked off after numbers came in pitting him against Joe Scarborough and Mika, who were also canned for being low rated. They were just awful too. WOR replaced Glenn with Mike Gallager, which is terrible radio, but they must have thought it would do better.
I am just listening to Glenn here. There are no coincidences. A lot of things are shifting around Glenn at once. Why? I don't buy into conspiracies. It all looks revenue driven to me. If I were to guess, his show has turned dark and manic over the last couple years. I know a few people that listen to music until Rush comes on now because they can't start their day with the steady apocalypse diet.
Well, considering that DE is so blue it hurts the eyes, Beck kicking a LIB show out is BIG news. Sorry, but 1450 hasn’t got much range north. It barely reaches PA, but we in DE are happy that there’s one less LIB talk show around.
