The emperor has no clothes. All it takes is for one person of some influence and substance to raise the question publicly. Trump has done the Republic a great service.
If someone was claiming I was not born here the first thing I would do is show my birth certificate ....logical. Seems to me by ignoring the issue Obama has proven he does not have a legal certificate. Maybe we should ask his benefactor Soros where we can find one.
Good read. And well worth it for the money quote right here:
“It cannot be answered by a group of women who host a TV program with all the gravitas of a bunch of runaway balloons”
That line is a keeper! Especially next time they go after Palin or Bachmann...

When Whoopi Goldberg jumped all over Trump, she went ballistics and she screamed a question at Trump that went something like this: What white presidents were asked to show their birth certificates?
But what Whoopi should have asked instead was a question like this about past presidential candidates: What presidential candidates---black or white---were asked to show their birth certificates?
As far as I can recall, I can't think of any presidential candidates who had a lot of controversy concerning his background and so the public put some pressure on him/her to voluntarily show his/her birth to the public in modern times.
Colin Powell: However, I do know one very famous black person who a lot people wanted to run for president, and who, if he did run, would probably have been asked to voluntarily show his birth certificate to prove to the public that he was who he said he was: I am talking about the famous and well-respected, former Secretary of State, Colin Powell.
Why do I bring up Colin Powell's name?
The main reason is this for those who may not know: Powell's parents, as I understand it, were born in the Caribbean island of Jamaica, and later immigrated to New York City, where supposedly Colin Powell was born.
1. So I think that if Powell ever ran for president, I think it would be proper to ask him to voluntarily show us his birth certificate so that we could be sure (1) that his parents were not still citizens of Jamaica when Colin was born in New York City, and (2) that we can verify that Colin was indeed born in New York City when he says he was.
2. Myself, I don't see the well-respected Colin Powell putting up a fight---like Obama has put up a fight--when he is asked to voluntarily show us his New York City birth certificate if he ever ran for president.
3. Personally, I think that Colin Powell's chance has to be president has now passed, even if he still seems like a very good person who would have attracted a lot of favorable attention if he had decided to run when he was asked to do so many years ago.
4. Again, Whoopi Goldberg jumped all over Trump on her tv show because she erroneously thought that Obama is the only person in American political history who was being asked to show his long form birth certificate because he was black.
5. My point is this: If Colin Powell had decided to run for president when he had the chance to run several years ago, I for one would have asked him to show us his long form birth certificate so that we could make sure that his parents were born in Jamaica and they were American citizens when Colin was born in New York City.
6. Again, asking Colin Powell to show us his birth certificate if he ever decided to run for president would have nothing to do with the fact that he was a black person. It would have to do with double-checking his parents Jamaican background and American citizenship status when Colin was born in New York.
Obama would rather have his eligibility questioned because he call those raising the issue kooks. The one issue he will do his best avoid is his socialist bona fides.
1. Liberals do not care where he was born as long as he is a “citizen of the world”. That is what they all consider themselves to be.
2. Liberals think the Constitution is just some old musty irrelevant paperwork from over 200 years ago written by White Male Racists who owned Slaves.
3. Liberals are Communist.
I’m up after just 5 hours of sleep, so please forgive the lack of details:
There was indeed another Pesident whose lineage was in question. Seems the guy may in fact have been Canadian. Quite a fuss was made, he never showed proof, and it was never formally resolved. It was this kind of situation which makes eligibility proof a sensible question for future Presidents.

Not only did McCain have to show his birth certificate, what about all the other documents that other presidents have shown? Health records, high school records, college transcripts, graduate transcripts and thesis statements, civil service records, military service records....the list goes on and on.
Does this president get a pass because he is black? I mean, if that's the reason, then put it out there and drag that fact into the light.
I am a birther
"There's nothing better than watching those women run up and down that field, dunking that ball."
Whoopi, do you watch women's NCAA basketball, or basketball at all? It's a court, not a field. It's always been a court and not a field. Let's not pretend that you have any knowledge of basketball, then.
Secondly, "dunking" that ball?
Britney Griner, the 6'8" center for Baylor who finished her college career in 2010, is only the SEVENTH women's NCAA basketball player to dunk in a game before this season. She dunked twice in one game (she only had three dunks in her career); of course, she, at 6'8", missed her other eight dunk attempts in that game.
So . . . Whoopi? If only seven or so NCAA women basketball players in history have ever dunked - and even the 6'8" women have three dunks in their career, and games where they miss eight of teen attempts - then maybe there's not a lot of "running up and down that field dunking that ball."
In other words, you're an outspoken idiot on NCAA women's basketball . . . and that's a fairly good representation of how little you know about other topics on which you profess to be an expert.
the birth certificate issue basically defines whether or not the USA remains a viable, functional nation.
A “nation” that no longer has the will or ability to read the laws it has supposedly written and debated prior to their passage, protect its borders, protect its citizens from domestic (corporate) and international (Mexican drug thugs and illegals) rapaciousness, and can no longer even be sure their chief elected official is a taxpaying certified citizen, really isn’t much of a nation.
This is the point we dissolve into a loose aggregation of Red and Blue states...
