While I’m not opposed to reasonable reparations, we should not forget what triggered the second world war.

Do you also recall that the United States, through President Wilson, got next to nothing out of World War I, even though we broke the stalemate and won the war? That’s the model that presidents since then (FDR, Truman, LBJ, Nixon and both Bushes) have used. We are the opposite of the ancient Romans.

I thought it was expansionist German and Japanese policies.
