I actually had the opportunity post 9/11 to “sell out.” It was a big deal with a “moderate” Islam state business very well connected. Told them multiple times - no thanks. They threatened to sick the US Dept of Commerce and State Dept on me. I did not back down. It probably would have been worth tens of millions.
