Sex Education or Promoting Sex?
Political Blog ^ | March 27, 2011 | Jeanine Vecchiarelli

Recently a former Ramapo High School teacher ran afoul of the law by giving a sexually explicit book to a high school girl. The ex-teacher was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, among other things.

Meanwhile, Clarkstown high school students are reading a book that contains all kinds of sexually explicit episodes, including graphic depictions of heterosexual and homosexual encounters, forced oral sex, masturbation, and bestiality. But there is no outcry from the masses in Clarkstown, because this book (which I will not name, to deny it undeserved publicity) is part of the high school English curriculum. According to the Clarkstown Schools Supervisor, it was added in an effort to develop the students into well rounded citizens of a global society. Am I missing something here?

East Ramapo Health teacher Diane Schneider recently spoke on behalf of the National Education Association when she addressed the United Nations Council on Women’s Issues. Ms. Schneider spoke of the necessity of implementing MANDATORY classes for ALL MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS to learn about oral sex, masturbation and orgasm, in order to shape them into well rounded, tolerant citizens. The NEA is undoubtedly working closely with our nation’s Safe Schools Czar, a very determined official who is militantly pursuing the full spectrum sexualization of our children as early as Kindergarten. Is the addition of this book to the Clarkstown high school curriculum part of a broader, nationwide agenda? I believe that it is. And it is SHAMEFUL.

So am I to understand that the hired help is now giving orders to the bosses, telling them how to run their systems? I've always envisioned that hierarchy reversed ...

Isn’t the Safe Schools Czar a child molester?

Not that it matters now I guess. He will be by the time he is done.

“The evil brainwashing continues on all fronts.”

Actually, it may be a criminal act. Note the use of the word “forced” in the sentence from the article: “...including graphic depictions of heterosexual and homosexual encounters, ***forced*** oral sex, masturbation, and bestiality.”

Forced sex is, by definition, rape.

Can we hang them now?

These people think they are promoting moral nihlism by promoting recreational/clinical "sex." At one level, they're not wrong.

But the real tragedy and irony here is that, while these cretins think turning "sex" into a 24/7 public sideshow, they are paving the way for an entire generation that finds "sex" less than enthralling or fulfilling. Because, golly, without the mystery, without the personal discovery of true sex within a loving relationship, "sex" becomes just another option between watching a movie, playing raquetball, surfing YouTube.

IOW, when it's something "taught" by your "teachers" from second grade on, it becomes on the same level as other pointless crappola dished out by these "teachers."

Libs sure know how to take the sexy out of sexy. That's why they're always looking for the next big sexual perversion to pursue: long ago they become bored with the clinicalized, curricularized, emotionally vacant "sex" they shove on everybody at every opportunity.

Sorry, but the deep emotional impact of sex cannot be taught by "sex" education, but it can be robbed by it.

Sex Education no more encourages sex than Driver’s education promotes driving.

Show kids pictures of what happens to genitalia after contracting STDs. They’ll believe in abstinence real quick.

Sorry, but by the Clintonian definition, oral sex is not sex at all. Assault, maybe, but they don't get hanged for that.
