There's plenty of countries out there where kids are taught to love the leaders of the country, with use of songs, picture books, and the like.

They're not good countries. The leaders are not good people.

Cartoon book or not, there's something innately creepy about using kids to spread political literature.

We got a new librarian in our school and she brought all of her books. We now have nearly a shelf full of children’s books on 0bama. It’s revolting. Yet, I can’t find one on President Reagan, or very many on Washington or Lincoln for that matter. One of my boys did check out a book on President Lincoln last week (probably the only one we have). He’s always telling me facts he learns from his reading. He came up to me yesterday and said: “I know the name of the person who shot Abraham Lincoln! John Wilkes Booth!” LOL! Like it was a mystery! I just love it when kids learn!
