The most likely explanation is that he got this information from Tammy Duckworth, since the rest of the story is based on an interview with her. The reporter later said it was HIS personal error and that he found the claim of Obama being born in Indonesia on the Internet. This doesn't ring true, considering when the story was published. Who would have had anything about Obama being born in Indonesia posted anywhere on the Internet?? What I'm curious about with Tammy Duckworth is why she would think Obama was born in Indonesia unless he told her so.

Therefore, it is likely that any member of Congress could request a Writ of Quo Warranto against Obama from either the Attorney General or the US Attorney for the District of Columbia and if those officials refuse the request, a member of Congress could go to the US District Court for the District of Columbia(just like Orly Taitz did) and a judge could grant the quo warranto request under the DC Code, forcing Obama to show by what authority he holds the position of President of the United States.

But neither the Courts nor Congress seem interested in those details.
Their position appears to be: let the voters decide whether they care about the classic SCOTUS definition of natural born citizen or not.
It is obvious that the Roberts Court is not interested having already rejected 13 Obama eligibility appeals and not one of the nine Justices has ordered Obama to submit a brief in defense of his position.
The other two branches of government appear loathe to undo the electoral decision of 69,456,897 voters and 365 Electors.
I believe that every member of congress is told by party leaders that if they attempt to remove obama it would destroy their careers and our country could end up in a civil war. And if they don’t agree to keep quite,maybe their lives re threatened. You realize what would happen if everything obama had signed , or appointments made were suddenly void. It could very well destroy both the Republican and the Democratic party. it would be worth it to restore the Constitution and save our country.
And besides, members of Congress might be saying to themselves, on the day Obama was inaugurated the Dow-Jones Industrial Average closed at 7,921 and today it’s at 11,900.
Politicians like their investment portfolios and that makes it easy to rationalize that “things aren’t THAT bad.”
Normal people don’t think like politicians.

There have been ZERO lawsuits adjudicated against Obama or McCain for illegal campaign contributions.

It’s a shame that the Federal Election Commission hasn’t pursued any of those complaints against Obama, particularly since there is not a single FEC commissioner who was appointed by President Obama.
