I was hopeful, but no. Red wine will do nothing to protect your thyroid from radioactive iodide. The antioxidants in red wine do have anti-cancer qualities though. Must be good for you. Drink up!
Oh, darn....I was hoping I could start regularly drinking it again...(allergy)....lucky I take Iodide anyway by prescrip....so I probably don’t need to worry....but, darn, red wine would have been a great solution
