The reason I ask is that:
Atheist: Denies or rejects the existence of a G-d.
Secular: Not overtly or specifically religious.
Most Jews I have met in Eretz Israel are Secular, not Atheist. Big Difference.
Ah, gotcha. I was an atheist for most of my life, but not the radicalized type so often portrayed on FR, and it colors my view. I tend to think of atheists as non-believers, not necessarily anti-religious.
